    Day Trip to Colmar

    Colmar has been in our list of places to visit for a long time. The short distance from Zurich is very attractive (Colmar is only 150 KM from Zurich) and we can easily go for a day trip anytime. This was actually our second attempt to visit the city. Unfortunately, the first time we tried to visit, we had an accident on the motorway only 30 KM away from reaching Colmar and we were forced to return home.     Oceanogràfic in Valencia

    During our last trip to Valencia, we had the chance to visit the Oceanographic, Europe’s largest aquarium containing representatives of the world’s major marine ecosystems (more than 45,000 different examples of 500 marine species). The complex, which is impressive in design and size, was created by the architect Felix Candela and the structural engineers Alberto Domingo and Carlos Lázaro. The water park is divided into ten areas and each building is identified with the following aquatic environments: the Mediterranean, the Swamp, Tropical and Temperate Seas, Oceans, Antarctica, the Arctic, Islands, and the Red Sea, as well as the Dolphinarium with 24 million litres of water and a depth of 10.5…
